Two randomized trials, both in women having chemotherapy for breast cancer, found better quality of life with IP6 than with a comparison treatment.
Both were small, 14 and 20 patients, and neither measured whether the cancer itself responded, so they say nothing about IP6 as a cancer treatment.
Larger trials would be needed before anyone could call this established.
